Instead of paying a card's mana value, you may pay its evolve cost and put it on a creature with the same name listed in the evolve text. The original creature is not treated as a seperate card, but it does not count as destroyed for any purpose. If you do, that creature gains all abilities, equipment, enchantments, counters, and targeted spells that the original creature did.
