Mardu Pyromancer is probably a reasonable tier 2.5/3 list. Run a bit more targeted discard like Cabal Therapy and swap and Paths for Swords to Plowshares . I think that due to the timing of the unban, it might take a bit for us to actually see how good SFM is in the format. Modern season is towards its end this year, so there won't be as many events outside SCGs I guess. I know myself I think I have one more MCQ I'll be attending in my area next weeken...

I guess the discard can be good against scapeshift decks and I guess the gain 3 life without the extra card on guard mage isn't too good against a Narset
